SIGMA™
Brand, website, and motion graphics for the open standard bringing cryptographic provenance to digital media.
The brief
SIGMA™ — Synthetic Image Generation Marking Architecture — is building something that matters: an open, vendor-neutral standard that embeds cryptographically verifiable provenance directly into digital media at creation. As synthetic content becomes indistinguishable from the real thing, the ability to verify origin and attribution at scale isn't a feature — it's infrastructure. They needed a brand that could carry that weight. Technical enough for the engineers and platform architects implementing it. Authoritative enough for the institutions mandating it. Clear enough for anyone to understand why it matters.
What we did
- Built the SIGMA™ brand from the ground up — wordmark, icon, and a full identity system that positions the standard as the definitive mark of digital provenance.
- Designed and built the website — translating a complex technical standard into a focused, compelling web presence for implementers and decision-makers alike.
- Produced animations and motion graphics — bringing the invisible work of cryptographic verification to life visually, making the abstract tangible.
The outcome
SIGMA™ has a brand that matches the precision and ambition of the standard — authoritative, technically credible, and built to be trusted at scale.
